    Theme: Family

    Topic: My Doggie

    I have a dog,

    His name is Jack,

    His coat is white

    With spots of black.

    I take him out,

    Most every day,

    Such fun we have,

    We run and play.

    Such clever tricks

    My dog can do,

    I love my Jack,

    He loves me too.

  • Themes of open section

Children, let’s make some poems related to your competition.

    Theme: Beauty

    Topic: Peach Pie

    Pick a Peach,

    Pop a Peach

    On your tongue;

    Squeeze it hard

    And taste the juice…

    Pick another one!

    One for the basket,

    Two for the mouth,

    Three for supper,

    Four for tea;

    Five for the dish,

    Then open wide!

    Here’s the plumpest

    And that’s for me!

    Pick a peach,

    Pop a peach

    On your tongue;

    Squeeze it hard

    And taste the juice…

    Now they’ve gone!

  • Imagination

    1.          think of any useless objects

    2.          read a poem about

a goalkeeper who saved everything-----except goals.

    goal keeper

    What a save

Our school goalie saves old clothes

    And grandma’s woolen scarf

    He saves old rubber bands

    And empty drinking bottles

    He saves supermarket plastic bags

And a lot of waterproof teabags

It’s just a shame our goalie

    Can’t ever save a goal!

    1.        Think of some favourite school rules

    2.        Make some new rules

    3.        think if you are the new ruler of the world one day,  what do you want?  Try to make more silly ideas.

    4.        read the poem

    king

     If children ruled the world

    If children ruled the world

    Vegetables would be banned

And adults return home before six

    Teachers would wear uniform

And be told what to do

They would have to sit in rows all day

    With no beer or champagne

    PE lessons would be

    on every sunny day

No homework would be given before exam

    And festival days

    Things would be much better

    If only for a day

    So come on children everywhere

It’s time to get our way

    5.     want to try?
